A big project!!
This one will take a while. It is a portrait of a geisha from a photo taken about 100 years ago. Much of our home decor is Asian so the plan is for this to go above our fireplace. It is a gallery wrap 30 by 40 canvas. My largest effort ever. I intend to take my time and will post shots as it progresses.

it will be interesting to watch this develop. looks like you have a great source for inspiration and a wonderful drawing. is the gray a monochrome wash like a partial grisaille?
